1. Do spreadsheet look up and Return to Reggie

Save spreadsheet sent by Reggie via email

look up items in the XLS and check totals:

- do this by looking up the VPO in GDS (ie: Find, Search, VPO “WF5382”)

- items with a single sequence number, just need to check total

- items with a single sequence number AND in-transit number, need to check

total items that have that number listed (ie: VM47471863)

- items spanning multiple sequences, each sequence item needs to be

looked up and verified

respond to Reggie's email with updated XLS file

 

2. Make sure all WIP and intransit data has been polled and processed from EDI server.Use the spreadsheet sent from Tellas.

Open FWhip development environment…

Move the command window to a small window in the bottom of the screen so it doesn’t get in the way…

IN FWHIP Program’s directory run tlseom.prg

-> (J:\FWHIP\PROGRAMS\ tlseom.prg)

Enter Reggie’s Starting and Ending date

NOTE: if he gives us a Saturday date, use Friday’s date instead

 

On the second screen click ok

On the third screen the totals should agree either pick 1st or 2nd file for useage, either will work…

On the forth screen pick the month in question

Scan the last two columns for equal numbers if you find any issues then we need to go find out why they should be the same.. Never had this issue before but it could happen…… (toss up for answers)

Escape on the grid or close it…

 

Now go into GDS/ COFS

In the reports menu pick COFS VMI Inventory Report 361

Use the 310 report and fill in the following prompts

Division = RLP

Importer = TLS

REF/1 BLANK

Start / End date specified by Reggie’s end of month Email

Start report and confirm month before running

No (archive)

Create month end file YES

UPDATE BOM VALUES NO

SUSPEND NO

Select PRINT TO FILE (FRRP361T.TXT)

OVERWRITE YES

VIEW NO

ERASE NO

GO INTO L:\GDS\EDI\LABELS\VMI DIRECTORY

ZIP UP ALL FILES THAT HAVE 8 CHARACTERS IN THE NAME TO VMIyyyymm.zip ( yyyyy = year, mm = month ie: VMI199901.zip )

 

Email out the VMIyyyymm.zip to Reggie
