PURPOSE

At FARO Services, we are fully aware of the potential and serious outbreak of the H1N1 Flu.  We have implemented steps to help prevent it from becoming an issue at our Main Distribution Warehouse and at all of our off-site facilities.

SCOPE

This SOP applies to all personnel working at the FARO Services facility located at 3275 Alum Creek Drive, Columbus Ohio 43207 and 6435 Commerce Court Drive, Groveport Ohio 43125.  It also applies to all off-site staff working at McGraw-Hill, Marzetti and Big Lots.

PREREQUISITES

Supervisors and quality control personnel must ensure that all provided equipment is available at all times and is strictly enforced.  Equipment involved is latex gloves, face masks and hand sanitizers.

RESPONSIBILITY

All supervisors and quality control personnel are in charge of maintaining an inventory of the supplies and making them available.  Any personnel who is sick or show signs of sickness must be allowed to go home.  Any personnel reporting to work with a cough or are sick, must be sent home.

PROCEDURE

Latex gloves, face masks and hand sanitizers must be present and in open sight of all personnel working.  Any one may feel free to use at his/her discretion.

Any personnel who is sick must be told to return home.

Any personnel with a persistent cough or fever must remain at home and obtain a doctor's persmission before returning to work.
